An orange "makes its way" globally—Mayang's premium ice-sugar oranges successfully "go overseas."

On November 23, at the 2025 Mayang Candy Orange Harvest Season event, a batch of premium candy oranges, after passing inspection by Huaihua Customs, officially set off for countries and regions including Malaysia, Russia, and East Africa, kicking off an "Ocean-to-Mountain Journey" for each orange.
It is reported that the Bingtang oranges shipped to Malaysia this time mark a continued deep dive into and stable supply of the Southeast Asian market, following the successful "ice-breaking" of the Malaysian market back in April. This development also underscores the growing strength of Huaihua Bingtang Oranges in Southeast Asia. In addition to this, since the beginning of this year, Mayang has been actively expanding into African markets, establishing trade partnerships with international buyers from Kenya, Somalia, and other African countries, thereby boosting the global recognition of the "Mayang Bingtang Orange" brand. Today, Mayang Bingtang Oranges have become synonymous with sustainability, health, and premium quality, earning widespread admiration and trust from consumers both at home and abroad.
To ensure the smooth supply of Bingtang oranges to international markets, Huaihua Customs took proactive measures well in advance of the harvest season by guiding enterprises to refine their quality management systems and conducting thorough risk monitoring at the cultivation bases—effectively controlling product quality from the very source. Given the time-sensitive nature of fruit exports, Huaihua Customs has continuously optimized its "export green channel," implementing a "7x24-hour" appointment-based inspection system. Additionally, the customs authority has actively promoted remote on-site inspections and piloted a reform model for batch-by-batch inspection of agricultural products, enabling immediate reporting, rapid verification, and swift issuance of certificates. This approach ensures that Bingtang oranges can be efficiently and promptly shipped overseas.
"Right now is the peak season for harvesting Bingtang oranges, and we're seeing a promising trend of steadily growing export orders," said Lei Huaying, head of Mayang Lanfenghu Agricultural Development Co., Ltd. "Currently, our production lines are operating at full speed to meet the surging demand from overseas markets." Meanwhile, the company's cold storage facilities still hold various citrus varieties, including navel oranges and Golden Tribute pomelos. Thanks to the continuous expansion into international markets, the company anticipates that this year’s export volume will achieve a new breakthrough.

As a "sweet calling card" for Huaihua, the Bingtang orange has steadily found its way into Southeast Asia, bringing not only delicious flavors to taste buds but also forging vital bridges for international collaboration. In recent years, leveraging the strategic advantages of Huaihua International Land Port's transportation network, Huaihua has successfully established a dense international logistics system, effectively paving a "fast track" for the export of its unique agricultural products. Today, Huaihua’s specialty agricultural goods—ranging from fruits and vegetables to poultry eggs—have already reached more than 10 countries and regions worldwide, with the city’s total agricultural product exports soaring to 390 million yuan from January to October.
"Huaihua Customs will continue to focus on the development needs of local specialty industries, driving the implementation and effectiveness of more trade facilitation policies," said Wang Youhua, Director of Huaihua Customs. "We will constantly optimize our regulatory services, fully roll out the 'Three Batches' initiatives, and make every effort to help high-quality agricultural products reach global markets, thereby contributing Customs’ strength to supporting local high-level opening-up and the rural revitalization strategy."
